The First Latinx Fashion Show in Napa Valley is happening on August 24, 2023 at Migration Winery. Join us for a unique fashion show and highly curated immersive experience that showcases Latinx music, art, and tasty goods. The purpose of Estilo-Latinx is to elevate Latinx creators and local businesses in the Bay Area, showcasing our collective talent, vision, creativity and passion for providing equal access to opportunities to our *comunidad.* 10% of profits will be donated to local non-profit Mariposa, a young women empowerment program that provides a space to explore ways to develop own personal power.
“It’s important for our fashion achievements to be celebrated and showcased in an authentic way. Not only do we need the visibility, but we also need to share our talents with the world. There’s so much talent that goes unnoticed in the Latinx fashion industry. Our community has never seen an event like this before in the Bay Area, let alone Napa Valley. This is the opportunity to celebrate each other in a fashionable way, all while giving back to flourish our local community.” Mentioned Stefany Hernandez, co-founder of Estilo Latinx.
This event is co-hosted by Latinx influencers and founders Stefany Hernandez, Rosario Ochoa, Jen Delara and Annie Grijalva in partnership with local vendors and media partners including Graze Provisions, Rumbea Event Styling, Villa Corona, Zuniga Optical, Carl Jay, The Duckhorn Portfolio, Parriva, Latinx Travel Club, Maison Latam, and Magia Magazine.
Meet the Founders:
Annie Grijalva is a Latina founder, speaker and mentor for intentional entrepreneurs. She is also the author of the book “How To Be a Real Influencer” and a previous contributor writer at Los Angeles Times en Español. Her work includes inspiring entrepreneurs to produce work they can monetize and feel passionate about, all while positively impacting the people they serve. Her extensive experience in brand and sponsorship management includes renamed brands such as Condé Nast, Lacoste, The Macallan, Citibank, Clinique etc in multiple cities around the world including Dubai, New York, Miami, Paris, Barcelona and Los Angeles.
She will always tell the story that she started as a model when she was younger, but then realized she preferred to eat pizza, wear black and run around backstage thus she switched to work in production and public relations. She then got enough of the glam and switched towards consulting and advising new professionals in the industry, teaching them how to co-create a portfolio career with intention. Her current projects includes:
CWH Media: #creatorswhohustle, A global media network elevating emerging, Latinx intentional voices of creators around the world. https://www.instagram.com/wearecwh/

Born and raised in Napa Valley, Gabriela Fernandez's roots run deep. As a first-generation daughter of a migrant farmworker and immigrant refugee, Gabrielais an outspoken, unapologetic and prideful Latina focused on elevating culture and bringing others along with her one glass at a time, sin miedo al éxito. A true go-getter, she boldly leads and embodies a hustler mindset, constantly keeping herself busy as she forges opportunities that are making the wine industry more accessible, while breaking down the exclusionary barriers often in place for Black and Brown individuals in wine.
As the Trade & Marketing Events Manager for The Duckhorn Portfolio, Gabriela curates consumer lifestyle and educational experiences for all to enjoy. Her career in the industry spans well over a decade, and previously included pioneering the Marketing division for a Spanish wine importing company. In addition to her career in wine, Gabriela is also Wine Down Media’s first Latina Producer and On-Air host at MegaMix radio station, serving the Napa Valley and the North Bay’s diverse Spanish-speaking population, bringing representation to an agricultural community whose population is almost half LatinX. Her dynamic and bubbly personality has been recruited to emcee events such as Live in the Vineyard, Assemblage Symposium, WEX (Wine Executive Exchange), as well as interviewed prolific artists through BottleRock, Sonoma Harvest Music Festival, and more.
As if that wasn't enough, Gabriela launched “The Big Sip" podcast in 2020, highlighting and elevating black and brown individuals whose careers are at the intersection of wine, food, arts, tech, and health. Her work has been featured in Good Morning America, The L.A Times, Prohibitchin’, Napa Valley Register, North Bay’s Business Journal, and more. Her upbringing and undergrad education at Saint Mary’s College of California have influenced her desire for a life of service, unafraid to vocalize the industry's shortcomings with the goal of fearlessly building community and driving equity, inclusivity, and advocacy for marginalized groups. In 2021, Gabrielaco-created the groundbreaking and first-of-its-kind, LatinX Wine Summit, alongside Hispanics in Wine and Uncorked & Cultured, and most recently joined the Hispanics in Wine team as active Board Member, providing educational and career-advancement opportunities to the LatinX and Hispanic population.
